There is no airport in Kaifeng, the cloest airport near Kaifeng is Zhengzhou Xinzheng Airport. But there is no direct flight from Xian to Zhengzhou since the 2-hour high speed train operated between Xian & Zhengzhou. Travel from Xian to Kaifeng is not available.

Travel from Xian to Kaifeng by Bus
Taking long distance bus from Xian to Kaifeng is still available, there are 2 direct buses daily depature, which depart at 08:30am & 13:00pm. The buses depart from Shaanxi Xian Bus Terminal to Kaifeng Bus Terminal, it takes around 9 hours by long-distance bus and cost about CNY120. The distance of bus is about 734KM.
