Your first stop is The Site of Chang'an City of Han Dynasty. Located at 5 km northwest of modern Xi'an, the site of Chang'an City was the capital of the Western Han Dynasty, it was the political, economic and cultural center of ancient China. The Site of Chang'an City of Han Dynasty is also the start of the Silk Road, and a cosmopolitan metropolis comparable with the greatest cities of the contemporaneous Roman Empire. It was a consumer city, a city whose existence was not primarily predicated upon manufacturing and trade, but rather boasted such a large population because of its role as the political capital of China.

The construction of the Site of Chang'an city of Han Dynasty can be divided into 3 periods over more than 90 years. Liu Bang, the emperor of Han, was decided to build the palaces before the city walls. In 202 BC, he repaired the Xingle Palace of the Qin Dynasty and renamed it to Changle Palace. Two years later, a new palace called Weiyang was constructed. Now The Silk Road "Routes Network of Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor" has already become a world cultural heritage site. The site of Weiyang Palace in Chang' an City of the Han Dynasty is one of the seven sites in Shaanxi province.

Next to Qujiang Pool Heritage Park. Qujiang Pool Heritage Park is a relics park located in southeast Xian, 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) from the Bell Tower (the city center of Xian). Qujiang Pool was once the most famous scenic spot in Chang'an (the name of Xian in ancient China). It has been a royal garden since the Qin Dynasty (221 BC-207 BC). Feeling the gentle breeze in the park, one can head south and there is the House in the Woods. There are nine houses named after the tunes to  which Song poems are composed. In the houses, Shaanxi opera, leather silhouette shows and Fengxiang clay sculptures are presented. One of the buildings is a small museum, in which the discoveries of archeological excavations of Qujiang ancient ruins are exhibited. 

Move on to Qinglong Temple. Qinglong Temple, also named Green Dragon Temple, from about 6 kilometers that located the highland of the suburb southeast of Xi'an City. It was initially established on the second year of Sui Dynasty, the name then was Linggan Temple, means Temple of Inspiration. The name Qinglong Temple was changed later in 711 of Tang Dynasty. Green Dragon Temple was flourished most in middle Tang Dynasty, there were many monks from abroad came here studying and communicating. Especially the Japanese monks, Green Dragon Temple is the ancestor temple of Tantra sect of Japan Buddhism. In the early and middle 9th Century, some Japanese monks were sent to China to study Buddhism. 6 of them studied at Green Dragon Temple, and this led to a flourishing period of the temple. Among them, Kukai was the most learned. thereafter Japanese always treated the Green Dragon Temple as an important Holy Temple. 

Your adventure will finished after Xian Ancient City Wall. As one of the UNESCO's world Heritage Site, Xi'an Ancient City Wall was built in the 14th century, under the regime of Emperor Zhuyuanzhang in Ming dynasty, had the function of protecting the cities or towns as military defense systems in ancient China. Xi'an Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls, exhibits the "complete features of the rampart architecture of feudal society". Xi'an City Wall is a heritage National Historical and Cultural Town since 1961, it is about 14km in length, 12meters in height. The current city wall is an enhancement of the old Tang Dynasty structure, as a result of the emperor's wall building campaign.

Now, Ancient City Wall is one of the top attractions in Xi'an city. It takes around half day to walk around, cycling is a good choice for visitors go around and appreciate the construction in Ancient China.

After the tour end, drive you back to your hotel in Xi'an or Xi'an train station.
