Day 1 Beijing-Xian by Flight

Today, your friendly Beijing local driver will pick you up from your hotel in Beijing's downtown area. Look for the welcome sign with your name! You will be comfortably transferred to Beijing Airport, where you'll board your flight to Xi'an, a journey of about two hours.

Upon your arrival at Xi'an Airport, our experienced local tour guide will meet you at the exit, holding a "Your Way Holiday" welcome sign. With a warm greeting, they’ll escort you to your first stop, a delightful local restaurant where you can enjoy the authentic flavors of Xi'an cuisine, such as the famous hand-pulled noodles, Xi’an-style dumplings, and spicy lamb skewers.

First, our tour guide will take you to a local Chinese restaurant to taste the authentic Xian dishes.

After a satisfying lunch, it’s time to embark on an exciting exploration of Xi'an, starting with the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty, stands as a timeless symbol of Xi'an. Your guide will share the fascinating history of the pagoda, including its role in housing sacred Buddhist scriptures and relics brought from India by the legendary monk Xuanzang. Day 2 Xian Tour Itinerary

In the morning, our experienced guide will meet you at the hotel lobby and escort you to the renowned Terracotta Warriors site. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes, offering a comfortable ride where your guide can share fascinating insights about the history and culture of Xi’an. As you journey towards the Terracotta Warriors, feel free to ask your guide about the local sights, the historical significance of the Qin Dynasty, or anything else that sparks your curiosity.

The Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum is often referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." This awe-inspiring site showcases an incredibly high level of craftsmanship and artistry, and your guide will take you through its intricacies. As one of the most significant archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, this site tells a compelling story of the ancient burial practices of China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang. Your guide will explain how a staggering 179 burial pits have been discovered, each with its unique purpose and layout. You'll learn how these pits offer critical insights into the military organization, weaponry, and ceremonial practices of ancient China. After lunch, you’ll be transferred back to Xi’an’s vibrant downtown, where your guide will continue to share fascinating details about the city’s rich history and culture. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this massive wall was originally built in the 14th century during the Ming Dynasty under the reign of Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang, serving as a military defense system to protect the city from invaders.
