Introdution

The Heihe National Forest Park is located in Zhouzhi County, the source of Heihe River (Old known as Manshui),  some 80 kilometers (50 miles) southwest of Xi'an. It has an area of 7462 hectares. Park forest dense, giant panda, golden monkey, antelope and other rare wild animals walk in the meantime, there are Duan Luo Road, Yingpanliang, Diaoyutai, and other historical and cultural landscape python river.

There are more than 100 scenic spots in the park. The park is the demonstration area of WWF ecotourism, the Heihe scenic spot of the world geopark, the national forest park, and the national aaa tourism area.

Natural landscape

Park rivers are the main river or tributaries of the Heihe River, the basin covers all areas of the park. The average runoff is 628.5 million cubic meters, the sediment content is low and the water quality is good. The river is bigger, the current is fast, the flow direction is changeable, and the steep rock on both sides of the bank, the formation of deep pool, waterfall, shoals, rapids abound. 

The tourist resources of water body in the park include the pool and waterfall represented by giant urn waterfall, Yue Yu pool, best friend pool, Heilongjiang pool, white dragon pool, and giant urn pool, and the mountain spring landscape represented by sweet water spring and fish cave spring.

Sanyi Temple

Shuiyuan villa

The Park Service is located. Established in 1999, there are 99 guest rooms, including 67 standard rooms and 32 ordinary rooms, which can accommodate 230 people at the same time.

Transportation

Drive: From Fengqing Road bus station in Xi'an by bus to the bus station in Zhouzhi County, change from Zhou to Hou Zi, Banfang, Dafeng River and other places to the Park Management Office (Shuiyuan Villa); You can also enter the park directly by bus to Hou Chuan.
