Our family of four recently spent a full day on a private tour on Xi'an with Susan. We've been on tours before and may never want to go on anything but a private tour again. Susan was like a good family friend showing us sites and personalizing our trip to our needs yet sharing details abour Xi'an that we just coulldn't have known without her help. We particularly wanted to experience the history of the city and Henry effortlessly paid attention to this and led us to places that weren't as crowded with weekend visitors as others. Susan shoed us sites at the more crowded Terra-cotta Warriors that were actually very secluded in the midst of weekend visitors. She knew the places to go and get a very special view of a very special city. Only an experienced local could know this and his attention to detail was very appreciated. It made for a memorable day that would have been utterly impossible on our own. Thank you Susan!

You might be able to help us with two other issues.

We arrive in Beijing on the 30th Sep and travelling by Bullett train to Xian on Wed 4th Oct for 3 nights. Any suggestions?

Also we plan to travel to Chongquig to pick up the Yangtse cruise on the 9th Oct to the 12th. We would like to see the Dazu caves whilst there and as much as we can in Chongquig whilst there.

Nothing is booked yet apart from cruise pick up on 9th and Beijing is sorted. So from Wed 4th to the 9th Oct is flexible. We thought Xian and Chongquig.

Do you do tours in these areas or have recoomendations

We are thinking of visiting Beijing and Xian and Guilin in late April next year.
Will the weather be good then or should we go in mid October time?

Please kindly give me the private tours iternaries and their prices and any advice or suggestions as to whether we should use Beijing as our base?
Are there any other places near Beijing that you would recommend too?

I remembered that with your help we managed to plan our Shanghai trip well visiting Hangzhou and Suzhou.

I travelled with my familly to Xi'an, we were picked up at the train station by our tour guide Cindy with a warm smile. It was a wonderful tour experience. Cindy was very helpful and informative, full of historical facts and interesting stories.The lunch arranged at a local restaurant was great. Overall, our time and money were well spent. My family really enjoyed Xi'an Private Tours and we would highly recommend using this Company!

I'm currently working in Beijing and wanted to visit other areas during 2 days off. This was absolutely the right way to do it. Harry met my group at the train station, he and the driver were both very professional. He was warm and engaging, answered all of our questions and asked us what kinds of things we wanted to do or see besides what was listed. He kept us on time (even though we were running late from the train) but I never felt rushed. Lunch was lovely at a family residence and the tea chicken that Harry recommended was one of my favorite dishes. I will book more trips with them, and if you're in Xi'an you should ask for Harry.

Our day trip to Xi'an was definitely one of the highlights of our 8 day China trip. David (our tour guide) was extremely knowledgeable, funny, sincere, and helpful. The day could not have gone better. From Terracotta Warriors, to lunch at a local restaurant to cycling on Ancient city wall, and the Muslim Quarter, everything was perfect. Even the train station pickup and drop off was meticulously planned. However I cannot state enough how well David did on the tour. His knowledge of the history of Xi'an made our trip very educational as well as relaxing. Highly, highly recommended.
