Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Welcome to China! Upon your arrivel in Beijing, the capital city of China, your Beijing local guide and driver will pick you up at the exit of the Beijing train station and escort you to your hotel in Beijing downtown. The rest day is free on your own to recover the jet lag or explore the city.

Day 2 Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit Forbidden City. Also known as the Palace Museum, this famed attraction is situated in the heart of Beijing. Dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the former imperial palace was the primary residence of the 24 emperors who reigned over the country during specific time periods in history.

Next, you will visit Jingshan Park, it is a beautiful loyal garden and facing the Forbidden City. And it is the highest poit of Beijing city where you can get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.

In the afternoon, our guide will take you to visit the Temple of Heaven, is one of China’s best tourism sites for anyone interested in ancient Chinese religious culture. It was where the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (from 1420 to 1900) worshiped the god of heaven and prayed for good harvests. It has been described as "a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design". Temple of Heaven.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 3 Beijing

After breakfast, drive you to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The Great Wall at Mutianyu is not as crowded as the nearby Badaling or Juyongguan sections of the Wall. Mutianyu’s 2.5 kilometer stretch of the Wall allows you to walk for more than an hour as you explore 22 watchtowers and the valley on both sides of the Wall. In late afternoon, or in poor weather, you often might find yourself alone with only the sound of the wind to keep you company. Travel back in time and see the Wall as it was when it was built hundreds of years ago.

In the afternoon, drive you back to Beijing city to visit Summer Palace. A marvel of Chinese garden design and one of Beijing's must-see attractions, the Summer Palace was the royal retreat for emperors fleeing the suffocating summer torpor of the old imperial city and, most recently, it was the retirement playground of Empress Dowager Cixi.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 4 Beijing-Xian by Bullet Train

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit Hutong in Beijing city with your family or friends. A hutong tour by rickshaw has been developed as a unique tourist attraction in Beijing. Visitors from all over the world are taking traditional rickshaws to move around the historic hutongs. However, along with tmost of the old and crumbling tenement courtyards and hutongs, the rickshaw is a thing of the past and is no longer acceptable in an increasingly modern city. Fortunately, some well-known courtyards and hutongs are preserved as cultural relics, giving color for the ancient capital. The rickshaw, likewise, finds its own means of survival. During the hutong tour, we special arrange a insight visit to local family’s home to learn about an authentic Chinese dish, some cooking skills, and about health philosophies; Join a family in their typical Beijing home for lunch and share stories with each other.

After the tour, transfer to Beijing train station to catch your train to Xian. Once you arrive, our Xian local guide will pick you up from Xian train station and tansfer to your hotel in Xian.'

Day 5 Xian

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit Terracotta Warriors. Chinese workers digging a well in 1974 made a startling discovery: thousands of life-size terracotta figures of an army prepared for battle. Now called the Terracotta Army or Terracotta Warriors, the figures are located in three pits near the city of Xi'an in China's Shaanxi province.

In the afternoon, you will visit famous Big Goose Pagoda. It's pne of famous ancient pagodas in China built for more than 1,300 years. It is the bright pearl on the Silk Road with excellent architectural beauty, precious Buddhist relics, rich religious culture, stories of the famous ancient monk - Xuan Zang, etc.

You will enjoy a show named "The Tang Dynasty Show", also known as " Music & Dance Dinner Show in Xian " is the pride of the city. Hosted at the "Tang Dynasty Palace", which is a leading entertainment theatre & dinner restaurant in China. This legendary venue offers visitors a unique opportunity to indulge themselves in exotic Chinese entertainment...

After the show, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 6 Xian

After breakfast, you will visit Xian Ancient City Wall. It is the most complete city wall that has survived China’s long history. It was built originally to protect the city in the old Tang dynasty and has now been completely restored.

Then, continue your Xian tour to Muslim Quarter. The main street through the Muslim Quarter is all about the food -- food that is both exotic and different than the typical fare in China. The streets in the area are clean and colorful with the whole area being very inviting for people to just walk down "main street" to see. It is said there are over 300 Muslim local snacks on the streets in Xian Muslim Quarter that attract a consistent flow of visitors everyday coming here to savor or just have a glimpse.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Xian.

Day 7 Xian-Lhasa by Flight

Free on your own until transfer to Xian airport for your flight to Lhasa. Once you arrive, our Lhasa local guide will meet you at the exit of Lhasa airport and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa. The rest day is free on your own to adjust the altitude stress.

Day 8 Lhasa

After breakfast,our guide will take you to the Potala Palace, it's the most famous and landmark of Lhasa. The palace with a long history was found in the 7th.century. The gilded burial stupas of former Dalai Lamas and meditation Cave of the 33rd great king of Tibet are the most worth seeing in Potala Palace. You will spend a morning in this palace to learn about the culture of Tibetan buddhism and appreciate the architecture.

In the afternoon, you will head to Jokhang Temple, is the spiritual center of Tibet. Everyday, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek a long distance to the temple. Some of them progress by prostrating themselves throughout their journey until they reach the threshold of the temple.

The last stop for the tour is Barkhor street, it's a popular place for female since it's a busy shopping street in Lhasa.There are many distinctive shops that sell different Tibetan stuff, you can find lots of local products here, such as local handicraft, Thangka, and so on. What's more, you can join with locals and pilgrims if you interested in the local religious. 

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Lhasa.

Day 9 Lhasa-Yambajin

After breakfast, drive you to visit the Yambajan, which is famous for its hot spring and is a nice choice for those who want to get a close look at the Tibetan herders and their semi-nomadic lifestyle.Covering an area of about 150,000 square meters, Yambajan, 87 kilometers away from Lhasa, is situated in the basin at the foot of Nyainqentanglha Mountains to the northwest of Lhasa.

After that, our guide will take you to Namtso Lake, it is a mountain lake on the border between Damxung County of Lhasa city and Baingoin County of Nagqu Prefecture in the Tibet Autonomous Region, China, approximately 240 kilometers from Lhasa. It is the largest salt water holy lake in Tibet. It is worth several hours riding on the road to visit. Under the clear sky, it would surely be one of the most heavenly lake in the World.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Lhasa.

Day 10 Lhasa Departure
