After looking at the reviews and doing some research we decided to book a one day tour with Xian Private Tour. Sam/Bonnie promptly responded to e-mails we sent arranging the tour. You pay 20% deposit by PayPal and the rest of the amount due in cash on the day of your trip. This is standard for private tours in China.
Sam/Bonnie set us up with Nancy who met at our hotel lobby right on time with a sign. Nancy spoke English very well, was a wealth of knowledge about China and Xian, and had a great sense of humor. We visited Terracotta Warriors, Bell Tower and Muslim Quarters, all sites are very interesting, we also tried lots of Muslim snacks recommended by Nancy. Nancy is very knowledgeable, provided a great deal of information and history at each stop. We absolutely had a great time and the cost of the tour made money well spent.
