Day 1 Arrive in Beijing

Welcome to Beijing! Upon arrival, your tour guide will greet you at the Beijing international airport holding the board with "Beijing Private Tour" on it and your Beijing & Xi'an tour start as below.

Your first destination is Tian'an men Square. Tiananmen Square is the geographical center of Beijing City. It is the largest city square in the world, occupying an area of 440,000 square meters (about 109 acres), and able to accommodate 1,000,000 people at one time. Tiananmen Gate on the northern square was the site where the Chairman Mao announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China.

The square is a conglomeration of splendid and beautiful flowers and the red national flag which flutters in the wind. The raising of the national flag is something which should not be missed by visitors to Tiananmen Square.

After Lunch, continue your tour to the one of the world’s 5 most important palaces – Forbidden City, the Forbidden City, also named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The incomparable palace occupies an area of 720,000 square meters (177.9 acres) and has approximately 8,700 rooms. A high red wall with a total length of 3,400 meters (3,718 yards) encases the palace. 

The palace, the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China, was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Building in 1987. It was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the construction of this group of buildings took fourteen years from 1406 to 1420.

Day 2 Beijing-Xian by Flight

In the morning, pickup from your hotel in Beijing. You will start your tour with Mutianyu Great Wall.

"If you haven't climbed the Great Wall, you haven't seen China." As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. It's known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. 

In the afternoon, drive you back to Beijing downtown. You will head to Nanluoguxiang. Nanluoguxiang is one of the most famous Hutong districts in Beijing. Hutong refer to the old style alleyways where large numbers of one-story courtyard houses are located in Beijing. Many of these areas are now protected in order to preserve their unique architecture. Nanluoguxiang is one of these places, which has proved to be a mix of history, fashion and shops. No wonder it’s a big hit with tourists especially the younger generation.

After the tour of Nanluoguxiang, you will be transferred to the Beijing International Airport and you fly to Xi'an. Once you arrived, your Xi'an local tour guide will pick you up at the exit of the airport with a welcome signage "Xi'an Private Tour" and you will be escorted to your hotel directly.

Day 3 Xian

Your first stop is Terracotta Warriors and Horses (aound 1 hour). To visit Army of Terracotta Warriors is the main reason why you are here in Xian. You may have already seen its pictures from China travel books or China tour related travel websites. The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

After that, continue to see the Qin Tomb, You will appreciate the marvelous Terracotta warriors in full battle array of Emperor both in Qin's tomb. 

Drive you back to the Xi’an downtown, and the last destination is the Xi'anncient City Wall. As one of the UNESCO's world Heritage Site, Xi'an Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest and best preserved Chinese city walls, exhibits the "complete features of the rampart architecture of feudal society". The current city wall is an enhancement of the old Tang Dynasty structure, as a result of the emperor's wall building campaign. Now, Ancient City Wall is one of the top attractions in Xi'an city. It takes around half day to walk around, cycling is a good choice for visitors go around and appreciate the construction in Ancient China.

After the tour ends, drive you to your hotel in Xi'an or Xi'an train station for your next destination.
