It is the first prehistoric excavation site museum in China. The Highlight of Banpo Museum

Exhibition Halls and Banpo Culture
Banpo Museum consists of two exhibition halls, both of which displays the unearthed relic exhibitions. The first exhibition hall mainly displays the production tools and domestic tools made of stone, wood used by Banpo People, which include stone knives, sickles, fishhooks, specula and so on, from which we can know the life style of the people thousands of years ago. Then drive you to explore the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Its more than 40 miles away from downtown, your private driver will be happy to help you put away your luggage. What you need to do is sitting back and relaxing in the air-condition car. on the way to the destination, your private tour guide will tell you something about the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, and if you have any question, please do not hesitate to let us know.

To visit Army of Terra Cotta Warriors is the main reason why you are here in Xian. You may have already seen its pictures from China travel books or China tour related travel websites. The Terracotta Army was discovered on 29 March 1974 to the east of Xi'an in Shaanxi province by farmers digging a water well approximately 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) east of the Qin Emperor's tomb mound at Mount Li (Lishan), a region riddled with underground springs and watercourses. The construction of the tomb was described by historian Sima Qian (145–90 BCE) in his most noted work Shiji, written a century after the mausoleum's completion.

The Terracotta Army
The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE and whose purpose was to protect the emperor in his afterlife.

After the sightseeing, head to the Qin Tomb, The mausoleum of Emperor Qinshihuang (the first Emperor of Qin) is five kilometers east of Lintong County, 35 kilometers from Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province. On its south is Lishan Mountain and to the north is Weihe River. It is the biggest imperial mausoleum in ancient China. As the first huge ancient mausoleum in China, with a river in front and a mountain towering behind, Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum displays the skill and craftsman-ship of the country's tomb construction and has spawn many anecdotes which have endured through the ages.

Know The History Of Qinshihuang and Architecture
Emperor Qinshihuang was named Ying Zheng and was a great politician and militarist of China's ancient feudal society. He made many political decisions that had enhanced the State of Qin and built its military might. He used his strong military force to annex other six states in the east and founded the first united and centralized state in Chinese history. After unification he adopted many measures to develop politics and the economy and consolidate centralization. Because of his tyranny and excessive tax collections the Qin Dynasty ended soon after his death.

According to the Records of the Historian: Emperor Qinshihuang succeeded to the throne of Qin at the age of 13 (246 BC). Soon after his enthronement he started building the mausoleum north of Lishan Mountain.

After he united the country he requisitioned more than 700,000 laborers from all over China to help in the construction. Despite the efforts, the mausoleum was not yet complete when the Emperor died 37 years later at the age of 50 (210 BC). The project lasted another two years after the Second Emperor of Qin ascended the throne. When adding the first phase of construction, nearly 40 years were used in building the mausoleum.
